PisgahTek is named for Pisgah, Maryland, where my family has held land for generations. Pisgah means a high place, somewhere you can see clearly from. Land stays in a family because somebody tends it, quietly, mostly when nothing is going wrong. That’s the same job here, on a much smaller scale.

I’m a veteran with a background in Department of Defense contracting and cloud infrastructure. That work shaped how I approach websites: controlled changes, documented access, tested recovery, and a clear record of what was done.

PisgahTek is best suited to small businesses, nonprofits, churches, and community organizations that need dependable WordPress care, a defined website project, or a specific security repair.

My security background includes fixing reported vulnerabilities, working with enterprise scanning tools, and hardening systems where the standard was high. I will not promise that a website is “secure.” You receive a clear account of the controls in place, what changed, and what risk remains.

Before work starts, we agree on the scope, responsibilities, recovery path, and cost. If the work needs a different specialist or level of coverage, I will say so before taking it on.
